Ms. Lydia

Lydia has 25 years of dance experience, with deep roots in Chinese classical dance, ballet, and Chinese-style jazz. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California (USC), seamlessly blending rigorous artistic training with academic depth.

Her technical foundation began with passing the Beijing Dance Academy Ballet Level 7 Examination. She later competed professionally with the jazz team Identity X, placing third at the 2015 NorCal Prelude Dance Competition. Most recently, Lydia earned top honors at the 2025 KAR Dance Competition, winning both the Highest Score and Judge's Choice awards.

Lydia completed 116 hours of specialized Chinese Classical Dance Teacher Training under Professor Wang Wei of the Beijing Dance Academy, mastering fundamental, advanced Chinese Dance techniques, and long-sleeve techniques.
